Direct Care Staff

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Minimum of one year of experience in a caregiving setting (home care, assisted living, nursing home) is a plus.
- Compassionate and patient with a positive attitude.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Physically able to assist clients with transfers and ambulation.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients’ skills, experiences, and career goals.
- Provide career counseling and guidance on job search strategies, resume writing, and interview techniques.
- Assist clients in overcoming barriers to employment and provide ongoing support post-placement.
- Coordinate with training providers and community organizations to offer additional skill-building opportunities.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make improvements as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in employment services, career counseling, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of local labor market and employment trends.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
